Mitt Romney is a renowned politician and a successful business man of the United States of America who served as the 70th Governor of Massachusetts from the year 2003 to 2007. Willard Mitt Romney was born March 12, in the year 1947 in the city of Detroit, Michigan. He is a renowned republican politician who ran for the President of the country in the 2008 election and has announced that he would be running again in the next elections in the year 2012. He did his undergraduate education from Brigham Young University, after completing that he earned a joint Doctorate and Masters of Business Administration degree from the Harvard Law and Business School. He started off in his career as a business man and was very successful in all his business ventures. In the year 1994, after achieving great success in the field of business, he joined the political arena. He started there by running for Republican candidate in U.S. Senate election from the state of Massachusetts but his career was not as successful in this field as it was in business. He lost to Edward M. Kennedy. In the year 2002, he ran for the Governor of Massachusetts and this time he won and stayed in the office for four years from 2003 to 2007. He did not run for the office again.
