Alleged victims' relatives testify at Bulger trial

BOSTON (AP) — Three more relatives of people allegedly killed by James "Whitey" Bulger (BUHL'-jur) and his gang have testified in Bulger's racketeering trial.

Margaret King, the widow of Tommy King, testified Tuesday that after her husband disappeared in 1975, she asked Bulger if he knew what happened to him. She said Bulger "was a little agitated that I would even bother him" and told her that her husband "was probably in Canada robbing banks." His body was found 25 years later.

Also testifying were Sandra Castucci, the widow of nightclub owner Richard Castucci, and Joseph Leonard, brother of Francis "Buddy" Leonard.

The 83-year-old Bulger is charged with playing a role in 19 killings. He's pleaded not guilty.

Bulger's lawyers have challenged the credibility of three former Bulger associates who have agreed to testify against him.
