Lim Bo Seng was a World War II soldier who participated in the war based in the city of Singapore and Malaya. He is among the most valiant men of the era and led his men to victory on many different fronts. He was born in the year 1909 in to an extremely wealthy family who were involved in the business of biscuit and brick manufacturing in Singapore at the time. He was the eleventh child born to the family but the first male and therefore he had a very sacred place in the family. In the year 1917, he moved to Singapore at the tender age of 16 year in order to study at the great Raffles Institution that was under the British colonial government at the time. After graduating from this pretigious institution, he went to the University of Hong Kong to further broaden his horizons. It was in the year 1930, that he married a Nyonya lady known by the name Gan Choo Neo. The two had eight children. Only one of his eight offsprings died in infancy. Not much is known about his personal belief however it is clear that initially he was a Taoist however after tremendous research he converted to Christianity. During the second Sino Japan war, he worked in the organization of the Nanyang federation that was heavily involved in boycotting the Japanese products and raising funds for the chinese government and their army. He also utilized his education to train hundreds of agents for intelligence missions.
