San Jose Sharks are an expert ice hockey team based in San Jose, California, United States. They are affiliates of the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the NHL (National Hockey League) . This San Jose sharks has brought back ice hockey to the bay area. The Oakland Coliseum stadium was home to the California Golden Seals of the National Hockey League starting 1967 to 1976. Gordon and George Gund turn out to be underground vendor of the Seals in 1974, and were involved in their progress to Cleveland in 1976 and a 1978 amalgamation among the Minnesota North Stars, which they acquired that year. They had long required to carry hockey support to the Bay Area, and inquired the NHL for consent to progress the North Stars there in the late 1980s, other than the league banned the projected progress. In the meantime, a grouping directed by previous Hartford Whalers vendor Howard Baldwin was close to the NHL to get a team to San Jose, where an innovative stadium was being constructed.
