Bill Cosby is a legendary actor and entertainer of Hollywood who rose to fame in the 1980s and has been in the hearts of many around the globe. His world class humor and superb acting has earned him many awards over the years. He was born on the twelveth of July of the year 1937 in the city of Philadelphia, in Pennsylvania. He has repeatedly said that he was a class clown during the early years of his schooling. He was also the captain of basketball team and the track and field team. He dropped out of school in tenth grade when he failed and got a job in a shoe making shop. Later on he joined the US Navy and served in a hospital. During the Korean war, dealing with the many different tragedies, he realized the things that were important for him and as a result, he went back to school to finish his education. He completed the equivalence diploma, and won a track and field scholarship to Temple University.
