Amy Adams is a beautiful and charming actress who started her career on stage, moved to television series and today she is a critically acclaimed movie actress who has had the honor of being nomiated for an academy award owing to her superb performance as Ashley Johnsten in Junebug. She was born in Italy to American parents in the year 1974 and she has Mormon roots. Although, her parents divorce did play a role in their family leaving the church, she still keeps their values and beliefs. Her career started off in 1995 when she started work at different dinner theaters and professionally earned a name for singing and dancing. It was at one of these theaters that she was discovered by prominent television and movie personalities and she started getting offers for variant roles. From 2000 to 2002 she landed in many small films like Psycho beach party and in popular television serials like Buffy the vampire slayer, Charmed, That 70s show and Smallville.
