Liu Yifei is a young and emerging actress and singer of Chinese origin. She was born on the  August 25, of the 1987. Recently she has adopted the name Crystal Liu and is renowned across the world by this name. Her on paper name is Liu Ximeizi. She was born in the city of Hubei in China. She was the one and only child of Shaokang who was the first Secretary in the Chinese Embassy in France along with being a French language professor at a University. Her mother Liu Xiaoli was a dancer and stage actor. She was only seven years of age when her parents divorced and this was a major life blow for her. She was after that brought up by her mother. She has always been motivated to join the field by her mother who appreciates her career venture till today. At the age of eleven year, she along with her mother moved to the New York City in the United States and there she joined the Louis Pasteur Middle School to continue on with her education. In the year 2002, she moved back to her home land to pursue her career as an actress, model and singer. At the age of fifteen years, Liu’s applied to and was accepted in the country’s most prestigious school, the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy.
