(CNN) -- A Greyhound bus overturned in southeastern Pennsylvania early Saturday, injuring at least 20 people, a transportation spokesman said.

All of the injured have been relocated from the scene off the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Lancaster County and between 20 and 25 passengers people were transported to hospitals, said turnpike spokesman Carl DeSebo.

Helicopters were on standby, but no one was airlifted, he said.

Four passengers were uninjured and picked up by another Greyhound bus, company spokeswoman Maureen Richmond said. A total of 28 people had been on the bus, she said.

The bus originated in New York with a destination of St. Louis, she said. The bus was on the Philadelphia to Columbus, Ohio leg of the trip at the time of the accident, she said.

Pilot killed during accident at Poland air show (AP)

WARSAW, Poland – A small plane lost control and plunged into a river Saturday as it performed stunts at an air show in Poland. The pilot, the only person on board, was killed.

The accident occurred in Plock, in central Poland, as people gathered by the Vistula River for a picnic and the air show.

The news station TVN24 broadcast images of the small plane doing aerobatics when it began spewing out plumes of dark smoke and then plunged into the water.

Rescue workers pulled the pilot from the wreckage and tried to resuscitate him before sending him to a hospital. Several hours later, a hospital official said the pilot, Marek Szufa, died.

The pilot was alone in the plane, a Christen Eagle II, a popular single-engine aircraft used for aerobatic flying. TVN24 identified Szufa as a pilot for the Polish airline LOT and the runner-up in a Poland-wide aerobatics championship.

The director of the Air Club of Mazovia that organized the show, Slawomir Adamkowski, said the cause of the crash was under investigation.

Accident kills 2 at Vale's Sudbury mine (Reuters)

TORONTO (Reuters) – Two workers died after they were hit by waste debris being removed from Brazilian miner Vale's Stobie underground copper-nickel mine in Sudbury, Ontario, officials said on Thursday.

The employees were working in a shaft about 1,000 metres below the surface on Wednesday evening when the accident occurred, and were dead when rescuers reached the scene, the company said.

The cause of the accident was not immediately known, but the victims were both veteran employees, Vale said.

Mine operations are suspended pending an investigation and it was not known when they will be restarted, officials said.

Vale's two smelting furnaces in Sudbury are shut down for maintenance and are not expected to begin processing ore again until the end of the month.

SUV accident kills 5 in eastern North Carolina

The accident occurred shortly before 6:00 p.m., according to North Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper R.A. Woods. Police identified the driver as Maria Gonzales, 24, and the passengers as Abdil Salis, 24; Alexander Gomez, 6; Adyelis Salgonzalez, 2; and four-month-old Abdil Salis, Jr.

The state trooper said the two youngest victims were found in their child restraints.

Woods said Gonzales was driving a 1996 Chevy Blazer on a gravel road in the Craven County part of the national forest when she lost control of the vehicle. The SUV, he said, ran off the road and overturned in a canal. Woods said "the driver was driving too fast and lost control."

"We've had fatal accidents on this stretch of the road before, but this is the first time I've run across a family killed at one time," said Woods.

Woods said the adults traveling in the vehicle were boyfriend and girlfriend. He did not say how all five victims were related to each other.

Yale senior dies in machine shop accident

Michele Dufault of Massachusetts was working on a project in the Sterling Chemistry Laboratory's machine shop when her hair got caught in a lathe, a machine that shapes material by rotating it against a tool, Yale President Richard C. Levin said in an e-mailed statement. Her body was found by other students who were working in the building, Levin said.

The cause of death was asphyxia due to neck compression, and the manner was accidental, said Kathy Wilson, an investigator with Connecticut's Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The machine shop at the Yale lab is a place where students can construct or modify research instrumentation, according to the chemistry department's web site.

"The university has programs to train students before they use power equipment. Nonetheless, I have initiated a thorough review of the safety policies and practices of laboratories, machine shops and other facilities with power equipment that is accessed and operated by undergraduates," Levin said.

Levin's statement didn't say whether Dufault was alone in the machine shop when the accident happened. A call seeking additional comment Wednesday from Yale spokesman Tom Conroy was not returned.

The laboratory was closed Wednesday because of the accident, and the day's classes at the lab were canceled. Levin said he met with Dufault's parents Wednesday, and her parents will return to campus for a memorial service before the end of the semester, Levin said.

Dufault, who was majoring in astronomy and physics, was from Scituate, Massachusetts, and was due to graduate next month, CNN affiliate WTNH reported.

Dufault "also had keen interest in oceanography and was intending to undertake work in that field after graduation," Levin said.

"She was an enthusiastic saxophonist in the Yale Band, and a widely admired member of (Yale's) Saybrook College community," Levin said.

One of Dufault's friends, Jeremy Lent, told CNN affiliate WFSB that she was "one of the most delightful, kind-hearted generous (people)."

"Nobody deserves what happened to her," Lent said.

4 dead in Hawaii warehouse accident, fire

The incident occurred around 9 a.m. (3 p.m. ET) Friday at a Waikele facility, police said in a statement.

The storage unit was being used by a licensed explosives company that was contracted to stabilize and destroy fireworks that had been seized as evidence, police said.

"This incident is a tragic reminder of how dangerous fireworks can be, even when handled by experts," police said.

Fire and police personnel, along with agents of the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, were on the scene in an industrial section outside of the city, said Louise McCoy, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office.

A fire was still burning hours later, she said.

Three men in their 20s and a man in his 50s died, police said. Two other men in their 20s were injured, one critically.

Two bodies had been recovered, police said, adding the fire must burn out before they can enter the unit to recover the others.
