Julian Casablancas is a great rock star of this age who is renowned not only for his music but also for his song writing abilities. He was born on the 23rd of August of the year 1978 in the city of New York. He is the son of a Spanish-American business mogul John Casablancas who is among the founders of Elite Model Management. His mother was a Danish model. He studied at an elite boarding school that is located in Switzerland and it was there that he met members of his band with whom he performs today. Nick Valensi and Fabrizio Moretti were there at the time that he joined that school. He never graduated but he has repeatedly mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed music classes. He was interested in a career of music from the very beginning. Today he is married to a former assistant manager of his band, Juliet Joslin. The two tied the know on 5th of February of the year 2005 in the great metropolitan city of the world, New York. The couple has only one child, a son whom they named Cal, who was born in the January of the year 2010. According to him, Sam Cooke, Frank Sinatra and Lou Reed are among the top singers of the world and he considers them the greatest influences of his career.
