Alexander Emmanuel Rodriguez was born on July 27, in the year 1975 in the Washington Heights section of New York City. He was born into a working class Dominican family. When he was four, the family moved to the Dominican Republic for sometime but soon enough they moved back. He has spent his childhood in Miami, Florida. Eversince childhood, he was an avid baseball fan and Keith Hernandez, Dale Murphy, and Cal Ripken were his favorite players growing up. He was a huge fan of the New York Mets. He attended Westminster Christian High School where he rose as a baseball star and was considered the best player of the school of all time. He was recruited by University of Miami as a quarterback. He started his professional career in the year 1993 and over the last seventeen years, he has made tremendously many records and his achievements are unlimited. He has been honored many times with many prestigious awards over the last seventeen years. He has dated many A list celebrities like Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz. He is married to Cynthia Scurtis. She is a psychology graduate and the couple tied the knot on November 2, in the year 2002.
