Fallout mounts in deadly Philly building collapse

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Attorneys in a lawsuit over the deadly building collapse in Philadelphia will be able to bring in experts to examine the site.

A judge's order Friday allows for immediate videotaping and photographing of ongoing demolition work from a safe distance.

Common Pleas Court Judge Ellen Ceisler ruled that once the site is deemed safe, experts for all parties can inspect the remaining debris.

Six people died and 13 were hurt Wednesday when a four-story building being demolished toppled onto a Salvation Army thrift store.

A lawyer for one injured worker filed suit Thursday against the building's owner and the demolition contractor. A second plaintiff joined on Friday.
