cola was introduced in 1898 as Brad’s drink initially, when Caleb Bradham made the drink at home and sold it. It was initially his intension to create a drink that helps in digestion and boosts personal energy. In 1903, he changed the name of the drink to cola. About five years later, Bradham moved the bottling process Cola from his drugstore to a rented warehouse. His business started booming while the drink was advertised as “Delicious and Healthful” and it gained popularity by leaps and bounds. is composed of carbonated water, mixed with high fructose corn syrup, along with caramel color, sugar, Phosphoric acid, caffeine, citric acid and natural flavors. A can of containing three hundred milliliter of the drink contains approximately a hundred and fifty calories.
