Born in Russia, on the nineteenth of April, 1987, showed her talents for the game from the very beginning. She got her first tennis racket at the age of four and has played tennis ever since. Her father, not being financially very strong, still managed to get her into the top ranking tennis academy in Russia. It was her hand eye coordination that caught her coach’s attention and he recommended to her father that he should take her to Florida for professional training of the game. Her father borrowed money, worked on small jobs and made sure that by the age of nine, she was in a professional training academy in Florida working hard on her career.
