The sometime also referred to as Easter Hare is a character, a bunny or a rabbit who is associated with bringing Easter eggs for children across many nations. Sometimes this rabbit is drawn with clothes while other times it is shown as a wild rabbit. The legend states that  the animal brings numerous baskets filled with differently colored eggs, many different varieties of delicious candy and sometimes toys to the homes of children who do not have much on the night before Easter to fulfill their little dreams. The story further states that the will do one of two things. It will either put the baskets in a designated place so that the children can easily get all the rewards of easter or it will hide them somewhere in the children’s house or their garden and the fun would be to find all the goodies. The is almost equivalent of santa claus on christmas as both show up in the houses of children bearing gifts adn goodies a night before the event. The easter egg has its origins in the ancient roman history and in Germany. The first world wide celebration with easter eggs was in Germany at the beginning of nineteenth century when colorful eggs were made with sugar and pastry.
