Rajon Pierre Rondo is an American born professional basketball player who at the moment is playing with the team Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born on the February 22, of the year 1986 in Louisville, in the state of Kentucky. He attended Eastern High School where he played this sport for the first time and excelled in the game. He along with the high school, during the same time joined the Oak Hill Academy for progressing in getting a professional basketball career. After finishing high school, he played at Kentucky for two years during which time he was drafted by the NBA after their agent Bill Duffy came to recruit him. He attended the Kentucky state University from where he got a scholarship based on his outstanding performances in the basketball court. After recruitment by the NBA, he was selected by the Phoenix Suns on the 21st selection position. After spending sometime with this team, he was traded by the Boston Celtics. He made his NBA appearance for the first time with this team in the 2006 – 07 season of the game. Today he has established himself as an outstanding and superb point guard for this team and served as their point guard in the 2007 – 08 season of the game. It was during this season that the he earned the first championship for the team playing with the basketball stars Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce.
