James Patrick Caviezel, Jr. is among the top ranking American film actors and is known for the roles of Jesus Christ in the year 2004 in the film entitled “The Passion of the Christ”, Bobby Jones in “Bobby Jones: A Stroke of Genius”, for the prominent performance as Edmond Dantès in “The Count of Monte Cristo, Catch in Angel Eyes” and for doing the role of Private Witt in “The Thin Red Line”. He is renowned across the globe for his outstanding performances on stage as well as on film sets. He was born on the September 26th, of the year 1968 in the city of Mount Vernon that is located in the state of Washington. He was brought up in a tight knit roman catholic family. His family during his childhood moved to the city of Seattle and he started his schooling there in the O’Dea High School. He joined the basketball team there and performed really well in the court. He was an exceptionally good basketball player who started his career in the National basketball association. It was a foot injury that he got during one of the games that put an end to a life long career in the field. After he dropped out of the basketball courts, he decided to pursue his career as an actor.
