SINGAPORE : Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) chief Chee Soon Juan has said his party will “definitely” contest in three constituencies.

They are Holland-Bukit Timah Group Representation Constituency (GRC) and the single-member constituencies (SMCs) of Bukit Panjang and Yuhua.

Dr Chee said his party is working on another constituency but would reveal where it is at an appropriate time.

More than 30 SDP members and supporters were on a walkabout at Ghim Moh Market on Sunday morning.

Dr Chee introduced the party’s Assistant Secretary-General John Tan, Assistant Treasurer Vincent Wijeysingha, as well as former Workers’ Party candidate James Gomez, to residents.

Also spotted was a new face, 35-year-old Michelle Lee, whom Dr Chee introduced to residents as “one of their candidates”.
