Katherine Jenkins is an amazing musician who has emerged in the industry in the last few years and is a popular classical and pop singer. She was born on the 30th of June of the year 1980 in Neath, Wales. She attended her primary school there and was a good student who received A grades on her GCSEs. She started her career at the tender age of ten years when she joined the Royal School of Church Music and stayed on it for six years from the year 1990 to 1996. After joining the music industry she has had tremendous success. Out of the seven released albums, six have made it to the all time classic charts. She has sold over four million albums all over the world. She has traveled all over the world doing concerts for her fans. Her fan base is huge and is growing bigger every day. Music is not the only field of her work. She recurrently makes appearances on different television shows as guest star as well as an actress. She has appeared in the Christmas Special of Doctor Who, where she played Abigail Pettigrew. This was her first major acting role ever and she has been widely appreciated for her acting skills. She lost her father very early at the age of fifteen years.
