Lebron James is a professional basketball player who plays for the team Miami heat of the National Basketball Association. He has had a great career as a professional player and is among the top athletes of the country. He was born on december 30th, in the year 1984 in the city of Akron situated in the state of Ohio. He started his career with his high school basketball team and during his freshman year, he 21 points and 6.2 rebounds. As he started the sophomore year, he attained more perfection in his game, and his average increased to 25.2 with rebounds 7.2. He stats improved further in his junior year and he was named as Mr. Basketball Ohio that year. He also earned the title of Gatorade National Player of the Year and it was after getting this title that people around in Ohio started calling him King James. After that, he appeared in SLAM magazine and that gave him a nationwide exposure. James also played football during high school years but it was basketball that he really enjoyed.
